BLACK NIGHT STARS PROJECT MANAGER
Tasks
- Development and implementation of the program together with the curator of Black Night Stars (BNS)
- Collecting and sending all BNS candidate materials to the jury members, suggesting / finding Estonian candidates
- Collection and curation of materials (photos, texts) for Industry website, newsletters, project catalog, advertising purposes (in English)
- Production of a show reel for the presentation of actors
- Production of the BNS award
- Finding sponsors of the goody bag of BNS participants
- Organizing BNS online workshops and panels in cooperation with the Industry technical team
- Communication & one-on-one meetings with casting directors, agents and Estonian (as well as nearby) actors so that as many people as possible can participate
- Coordination and running of BNS events
- Reporting on the operation of the project at the end of BNS
Requirements for the candidate
- very good command of written and spoken English
- previous project management / event management experience
- good computer skills
- good communication and negotiation skills
- ability to work independently, conscientiousness and accurately
Good to have
- knowledge of actors in Estonia, as well as in neighboring regions
- good stress tolerance

Starting date: partial preparation from mid-April to the end of August, intensive period from early September to mid-December
Working period lasts until 20.12.2021

MTÜ Pimedate Ööde Filmifestival is a company founded in 1997, the aim of which is to organize a film festival. In addition to the Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF), we organise the sub-festivals PÖFF Shorts, Just Film and the international film industry event Industry @ Tallinn & Baltic Event, the Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (HÕFF) in April and the Tartu Love Film Festival (tARTuFF) in August.
